Beth Allan

Senior Associate

Since 1989 Beth Allan has been involved in health, education and social services restructuring and planning initiatives at the local, provincial and national level. She also designs consultation processes and provides facilitation services for a wide variety of organizations.

Recent activities include the planning and facilitation of national consultations for such organizations as the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada; VON Canada; and Health Canada. In Ontario, Beth Allan was facilitation advisor to the Chair and facilitators of the Ontario Citizens Assembly on Electoral Reform and she also facilitated the Expert Policy Forum on the Funding of Developmental Services for Ontario. Locally she has designed and facilitated stakeholder consultations for organizations such as United Way Ottawa, the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, The Champlain Local Integrated Health Network (LIHN) and the City of Ottawa.

Beth Allan has participated in facilitating and designing many deliberative dialogues with citizens including the Ontario Government Citizen’s Dialogue on the Ontario Budget; the National Youth Dialogue and Summit; and the National Citizen’s Dialogue on Privacy and Health Care.
